Insurance
At Magna Dental, our goal is for EVERY aspect of your experience with us to be pleasant and welcoming. To assist with this goal, we offer the following as tips and information in dealing with dental insurance.
The day of your appointment, please be sure to bring with you:
- Your copay or payment
- Driver’s license or State ID
- Current dental insurance card
As a courtesy, we will file your insurance claims for you.
- Keep in mind that your insurance is an agreement of covered services between you and your insurance company.
- It is your responsibility to know and be aware of your benefits.
- We are not responsible for not catching a policy limitation specific to your pl.an.
- Insurance companies change benefits, co-pays and deductibles many times throughout the year.
You are responsible for your account in our office and for providing updated information; as well as current insurance cards for our office to send claims and pre-estimates.
Pre-estimates are not a guarantee of benefits they are truly an estimate.
Treatment may change during a procedure that was not planned. You will have to make a decision whether to proceed with treatment or to postpone.
Insurance companies often deny services that they feel are not necessary or that they think should be included in another fee. We always provide you with our best services without regard to limitations imposed by your insurance company.
You are responsible for the balance of what your insurance does not pay.
Most dental insurance policies are limited and often only pay for a portion of the procedure(s) that need to be performed.
If you inadvertently receive a check for dental services from a recent visit to our office, it is your responsibility to send it to us.
